You can splash and play from 1:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Ticket prices are for both adults and children ages 3 and over. Proceeds from the day will be donated to Keep Sevier Beautiful and the Sevier County Food Ministry.

The 2nd Annual Recycling Games will be from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. and will offer fun and games for the whole family. The first 500 kids to sign up to participate in the games receive a special goody bag. keep-sevier-beautiful-heysmokies

Our goal is to bring fun opportunties for environmental education and positive behavior changes to a local level,  and to engage our community to take greater responsibility for our beautiful area,” says Keep Sevier Beautiful’s executive director Laura Howard.

Other sponsors for the event are Tanger Outlets in Sevierville, Hard Rock Cafe in Pigeon Forge, Food City, ALCOA, The Mountain Press, Pepsi, and the Sevier County Food Ministry Thrift Shop.

About Keep Sevier Beautiful

They have a simple concept.  Teach people how to care for their environment and they will. Reach kids at a young age and instill good habits that will continue throughout their lifetime. They believe in changing behaviors to change our environment. As an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful, they focus on three areas: litter prevention, waste reduction/recycling and greening through education and engaging our community.

Their goal to enhance and protect the beauty of Sevier County and improve the quality of life of our residents through community based projects.  Through volunteers, they engage the community in projects like County wide litter pick ups, recycling collection events, tree plantings, community gardens, household hazardous waste collection, anti-litter and recycling education, playground enhancement and beautification projects.
