Amateur cooks bring their favorite recipes and signature dishes for local celebrities to judge the best in several categories for cash prize awards. Enjoy live music by the Pea Pickin’ Hearts and taste all kinds of great food at the beautiful the beautiful Park Vista in Gatlinburg. Tickets are only $10 for admission and testing. The event is from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 24.
All proceeds go to the Lucinda Oakley Ogle Cabin Restoration Fund. The Gatlinburg Garden Club has preserved the cabin located at the end of Wiley Oakley Road next to the Gatlinburg Welcome Center on the Spur and plan to reconstruct it for visitors to enjoy. Lucinda was the daughter of the famous mountaineer guide Wiley Oakley. The club has raised approximately half of the needed funds for the restoration project.
