Once a year, visitors have the opportunity to visit the historic homeplace of A.J. and Sallie Bush at the Holiday Open House held on December 15, 16, and 17, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. each day. The beautiful farmhouse was constructed in 1909 and is located just across the road from the Bush’s Visitor Center. Plan to eat lunch at the Bush’s Family Cafe during this time and enjoy a very special holiday experience as part of your tour of the General Store and Museum. HeySmokies highly recommends the wonderful Pinto Bean Pie for dessert…if you like pecan pie, you’ll love this Bush family specialty! Roll that beautiful bean footage Duke!
