Junior Ranger Program: Smoky Mountain Elk is held each Sunday from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. at the Palmer House (the yellow one) in Big Cataloochee Valley. This free program continues through August 7, 2016.

Kid will learn about the history of the elk with hands-on activities. A fun an informative program teaches kids of all ages about the balances in nature that ensure the survival of the elk and other species living together in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Be sure to stay afterward and watch as the elk migrate their way into the fields of the valley!
