Ranger Program: Old Town of Elkmont. Take an easy 2-hour walk with a Great Smoky Mountains National Park Ranger and learn about the fascinating history of Elkmont before the formation of the national park. The free program is from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Sundays through August 7, 2016. Meet at the Elkmont Ranger Station adjacent to the Elkmont Campground Office.
