About Appalachian Bear Rescue Visitor and Education Center
The Appalachian Bear Rescue Visitor and Education Center in Townsend, TN is a great place to get know more about the workings of the non-profit Appalachian Bear Rescue (ABR). The rescue facility itself is, of course, closed to the public; however, because of such a great interest in the works of ABR, a new Visitor and Education Center has been established. The volunteer staff invite you to come see videos featuring the cubs that have been helped by ABR since its inception in 1999. Shop for unique gift items.
