Fourth annual Color Me Mutt 5K will be a great time for you and your furry friend!
Fourth Annual Color Me Mutt 5K is scheduled for Saturday, April 27, 2019. Nascar Speed Park in Sevierville, Tennessee will host the event again this year! Participants will have their chance to show their true colors and help raise funds for Wilderwood Service Dogs and the PARC Foundations’s mission to strengthen families though out Sevier County organizations.
The 5K Color Run will kick off at 8 a.m. followed by the one mile color fun run/walk and the crowd favorite pet parade. The 5K color run is a timed event with awards given to the overall male and female runners along with medals for the three male and female finishers in the following age groups: 10 & under, 11 – 17, 18 -24, 25 -29, 30 – 34, 35 – 39, 40 – 44, 45 – 49, 50 -54, 55 -59 and over 60. Dog participation is not required but it sure does make it more fun!
Some of our furry friends may prefer to tackle a shorter course. in that case the one mile fun color run/walk is the perfect option for these folks. Participants will receive the full dose of color along the race route and the same awesome swag bag the 5K runners receive.
No matter which race you plan to enjoy your pet will be entered in the Pet Parade. Those that wish to parade their pet but not be in the run are asked to make a donation to either Wilderwood Service Dogs or the PARC Foundation. Parade award categories include: Twinzies (best dog and owner lookalike), Most Original, Best Fictional Character, and Home Spun Magic (best homemade costume). The Best of Show award will be presented to the winner of the four categories as set apart by the most obedient.

The Color Me Mutt 5K will add color to your day!
Your pet will love this event and don’t worry, all coloring is non-toxic and water stations will be available for thirsty pooches and their owners.
Run participants will receive a t-shirt, pack of color, commemorative pet item and an unlimited ride wrist band to NASCAR SpeedPark good for Friday, May 26, 2019.
